Solteq Plc and SOK have agreed on the development of a Master Data Management (MDM) solution for product information, as part of comprehensive IT system development project at S Group.
With this solution, S Group will streamline its product information life cycle management and will ensure that all product information is up-to-date, enriched and usable in all channels. The solution will collect product data from different sources and ensure that the correct information is available during all the phases of retail process. The benefits of the renewed MDM solution reach from sourcing to search engine optimization and from marketing to assortment planning.
High-quality and up-to-date product information is in key role in retail whether the customer is served in a brick-and-mortar shop or in an online store. The MDM solution will be utilized in retail processes regardless of the touchpoint of the customers, i.e. in brick-and-mortar stores, online and mobile. From an S Group customer point of view, the MDM solution means more accurately planned assortment, real-time and reliable availability data and more versatile images.
